slow loading of documents from Collanos

I'm a new user of Collanos. My problem is that when I open a file from Collanos, my computer (not just the program needed to open the file) freezes up, sometimes for a full five minutes. Eventually, the file opens and I can use it. Meanwhile, I'm sitting around doing a lot of waiting.

I understand that Collanos uses Java for some of its functions. Java has always been buggy on my system -- is there a setting or something else that I can do to make it work better? If this is not the reason for the slow opening of files from Collanos, what else might be causing this?

I use Windows XP.

I am having the same problem.  I t got sower after the upgrade to 1.1

Our apologies.
We are trying to standardize on ports being used with the application and this may be the reason for the slow down.
A fix is on its way.
