I downloaded and have been using the program for about one month without any problems on my end, but late invitees dont seem to ever receive the workspace. I send the invite, they receive it, and even with what seems like an adequate amount of time (several hours to possibly overnight) their user icon is always yellow and they never get the window stating they received a new workspace. I know that their computer needs to sync, but it just seems like nothing ever happens after they receive the invite. The workspace has only powerpoints and word documents from school ad I would be surprised if it was more than 300mb worth of data... I made sure their firewall put this program on the exception list. Am I doing something wrong?

The default values for the bandwidth are set much too low in Collanos. If you need some more speed open up the preferences (Menu Tools, Preferences) and click on connections. In the section "Bandwith that you have (Download/Upload in KB/sec)" choose the option "Individual". Then click on apply.

Select the Advanced Bandwidth Settings and change the values:

Uploader speed limit (KB/sec): 10000
Downloader speed limit (KB/sec): 30000
Maximum uploaders run in parallel: 50
Maximum downloaders run in parallel: 50

Unless you have only a 56 k modem  Grin you will see a significant increase in transfer speed.

I'm facing exactly the same problem.

I invite a "always on Server" in order to have a central sync point, but the new workspace is not showing up for more than 12 hours now. I see the in / out traffic and it reduces towards zero, however, then it starts again, I don't know why this is happening.

Why does a workplace not show up immediately when I accept the invitation and I just can see the files and folders that are syncronized already ?

We have been running a number of workspaces for the last 6 months with good reaction times.

I recently got a new computer with an i7 processor and 64 bit Windows Vista so speed in any other context is very fast.  In the last week I have had upload speeds very low (about 3) and for three days 0 down load speed .  I have tried your recommendation on the settings but it has remained doggedly at 0.

Any other suggestions?  It's stalled the work we have been doing on the Workspaces as far as my contributions and visibility is concerned
