I've had a few problems with the messaging, when I'm in the middle of something and a message pops up, I read it, and then accidentally close it, or it goes away.  Maybe we could have an option in setup to archive messages, so we can go back to them after reading them.

Could you also tweak the message notifications so that they are always
'on top' of other windows, and so they do not disappear when you minimize or close the Collanos window?  My company uses the Collanos messages to get quick notes and questions to people, and it's hard to notice if you have a new message, if the notification isn't on top!

Thank you!  You did a great job with this software, and we're all looking forward to seeing where it goes.

Hello, many thanks for your valuable input. Messaging is one of the key topics to be improved for the next release (not the one we are testing right now). I have added your requirements to the list.

In line with the messaging issues - it would be VERY helpful if there were an added option for alerts that could be sent via regular email to a designated account if the member set it that way.

Often Collanos is not open, or I may be at a different computer.  An email alert would give me a heads up to look at Collanos (there would need to be a control on how much  information is sent with the email).

On a slightly different note and also related to the comment below.  I'm often confused as to where to look (a central messaging location ) for changes to the system - a type of log file or notices.  Right now I feel like  need to look all over the place to see what has changed or who did what.

Thanks for making such great software.
