OK after some testing I see we have limitations for moving items across work spaces. drag and drop doesn't work... you can cut and paste a task from one folder to another folder in the same workspace but  you cannot cut and paste one folder (and all it's content) from one workspace to another. Fine, understood and I'm happy to live within the given boundaries.

But we have to acknowledge that re-factoring may be a requirement at times when project organization decisions change. The typical model for this in the dBase world  is: export your data in some parseable format. Set up your new container and import the data back into your revised framework.

So with CW if we want to move an entire folder, and all it's children (tasks, discussions, notes etc.) from one work space to another, how do we do it? We are not yet using CW to hold any kind of documents

Hello,

You are right that moving information between spaces is very useful opportunity. We are going in feature releases to implement this. For the current moment you can use drag and drop function for moving information on you HD into Operational System environment and then dragging it into another space. But you have to know that business objects like note, task etc will be exported out and back to other space as xls files and won be reflected as in native space. Also you have to select files and wait with clicked mouse button until "+" sign appear (it takes time for creating temporal copy of dragged files) and only then move it somewhere.
