I've added a lot of files to a Workspace (on an other computer), and now after 6 hours Collanos is still downloading. It would be nice to see an estimation of how much time/how many files are left.

In the bottom of the window is located Traffic monitor, which show near words "in", "out" correspondent traffic in Kb. You can also rise your upload speed on both PC in order to  make upload process faster. you can read about it on next link http://forum.collanos.com/index.php?topic=1254.0

Thanks, but it is not really a solution to my question. It would me nice to also see how many / much much unsynchronised data there was.

Hi Martin, thanks for your feedback.

I agree with you, transparency and trust with regards to the current and pending synchronization traffic is something we need to improve! Right now it is indeed a "black box" and the user is left in the dark about what is happening, number of files pending, or estimated time to completion.

We will improve it, gradually. One idea we are evaluating is to show "placeholder objects" in the content pane, so that content receivers would always see what objects they are waiting for. Such placeholder object would show only Name, Creator, Size, Type/Icon, but are empty shells, because the content behind it has not arrived yet. Other instruments, such as graphical summary views to shows an overview of all pending traffic for all workspaces are also ideas we play with.

Hi Franco,

I think the placeholder idea is fabulous! First it would make a workspace immediately visible and second it maybe the right place to add a 'skip this file' button Wink

Cheers,
Carsten.
