Default text input method (缺省文字输入法)

Ubuntu 9.04中文环境， IBus中文输入法。
每次输入中文时必须先点击右键选Input Methods -> X Input method才能切换到中文，非常的不方便。
系统缺省的Input Methods是System(Simple)，有没有办法在Preferences里面让用户设定自己需要的缺省方法，或系统自动记住上一次的选择

Ubuntu 9.04 Chinese environment and iBus Chinese input method.

Each time try to input Chinese text, has to switch to X Input Method via right-click menu, otherwise there is no way to trigger Chinese input method. The default is System (simple). Is there anyway to set the default to the one which user prefer? (X Input Method in my case), or application should remember the one which has been selected previously.

Seems that this is a known Ubuntu problem.
