I have encountered an issue where a file I know to be updated is not being updated on other machines.  I know this because I have added data to the back end of the current file.  But the file on other systems I have access to do not have the same changes even though they register as current and having been changed.

This is why I would like to add this feature.  The option to do a forced update of a file or set of files.  Simply put, a purging of the data from an effected computer and a recollection from the more up to date computers into the effected one.  This way the files can be cleared and recollected with out having to purge the file from the project.  Something I am considering to get things updating properly.
