After modifying Word file (on Mac) and saving to workplace, cannot open file

I've just started to use Collanos for a transatlantic collaboration.  In a test, I loaded a Word (Mac) file into Workspace, then modified it and saved the modified file.  The file is in workplace, but I cannot open it.  The "Details" line on the error message says:  java.lang.nullpointerexception.  I have the same problem in another folder in which the Word (Mac) document that was loaded in will not open with the same "details" line in error message.

Collanos looks like a very promising online collaboration tool for an international publishing project, but this "bug" (or perhaps I am missing something...... which is very possible) raises some real problems.

Product looks great and hope to be using it.

I have the same issue, sometimes.  So I drag the file out of collanos to my desktop, then I open it.  If I made changes, I saved while on the desktop and then dragged back to collanos.  Sometimes that even resolves the issue and I can open the file while in collanos... not always though.
