Vista users can now install Collanos.

If a user is NOT logged in as ‘admin’, the user will not be able to install Collanos in the default application directory and will be required to select a different directory, where he/she have access rights.

Vista’s new enhanced security features prevent applications from being easily stored in the application directory.

Hello

there are still some problems with collanos running on Vista!
When starting the computer an error message comes up (see attachment).
The same happens if I try to start collanos normally. Again I have to start it "as administrator" toherwise it wo0t work properly!

Hello,

I've had problems downloading Collanos, I'm using Vista.
With teh help of Collanos, we found the solution, at least for me using Vista!:

1)Do not select "Run" when downloading it, but first store the file locally.
2) right-mouse click on Installer icon and set compatibility to "Windows XP SP 2".
3) still on the right click, Check “run as an administrator”
4) Only then install.

good luck!

I have installed version 1.1 from the main collanos website. The programme immediately wants to install 1.0.3.15 update, but I cannot click on next or finish to actually install it. I am further confused as there is reported to be a 1.0.3.16 update on the home page of the website? I have sent this problem through the system by email but no reply as yet. Hopeing you can help as looking to replace groove with something in my company. I using Vista BTW.
