Several users are reporting problems running Collanos after our latest software update (June 2, #1.0.3.15). Most commonly we hear this from Mac and Linux users.
If possible, when a software update runs on your machine DO NOT select "Yes" when prompted at the end to run Collanos. Instead, select "No" and then open Collanos manually from your Program Files or wherever it is stored. This will prevent the problem occuring in the first place.
We realize that many of you will be reading this after the update was completed and therefore recommend the following:
1. If you don't need to keep the current workspaces or can have someone else on the team invite you to them later on, we recommend to uninstall your current Collanos.
2. Once uninstalling, reinstall again but this time be sure to select a new data folder (where you have full read/write permissions, especially for Mac and Linux users) where you will store your workspaces.
3. Once you have completed the installation and have Collanos Workplace open, have your team members invite you to the workspaces that you lost.
4. If this works, please post to this forum the problem you were experiencing and how it was resolved (including your OS).
5. For users who cannot lose the current workspaces, when reinstalling select the folder location where you have your current workspaces stored and complete the install. There is a chance you will still be experiencing problems running Collanos. Please email us if so (support AT collanos DOT com).
Sorry for the inconvenience. We are working on a fix.
