For now we will have to remove user profiles from the back-end as we do not have a front-end option to do this. To request to be removed, please send us an email to support AT collanos DOT com ,from the email account you have listed on your profile. Sorry about this inconvenience.

Sorry for not informing all you committed beta testers but we have extended the testing a few more days until we release it publicly early next week. More enhancements and fixes will be done by then.
For those of you interested in beta testing another test release this coming Monday, please reply to this posting or email me.
And again....THANKS for all the great feedback. Looking forward to getting some more.

If I understand you correctly, you are expecting your 'server' to replicate the content to those who are online at the same time.
With the current architecture of Collanos, even if you set it up as a server, data gets sent only from the ORIGINATOR/CREATOR of the content. It cannot be relayed through a server or other member. The originator of the file, or change to a file, needs to be online when you are online in order for you to be able to receive the content.
Later this year we will revamp the architecture to allow a many-to-many synchronization so that any peer in your workspace can relay the traffic to another peer and not be required to be the originator.

Thanks BR.
Indeed you need to upgrade to java 1.5. Instructions how to do this are on this posting: http://community.collanos.com/index.php/topic,395.0.html
Keep in mind that your Mac OSX must be 1.4 and above. If this is not the case, you will need to upgrade the OS prior to installing Collanos Workplace. See related posting: http://community.collanos.com/index.php/topic,428.0.html

Hi BR and welcome to Collanos!
There should be no problem for users with Mac and Ubuntu to install the related versions off of our web site. There may be a need for some work-arounds with the Ubuntu which are mentioned on our forum. Please email support AT collanos.com if you are having trouble. Otherwise, just as you installed on XP, you should be able to install on Mac and Linux.
Regarding the ambassador program, please email marketing AT collanos.com with your contact information. Cheers, Gil - Collanos

Thanks Mike. The goal is to make this forum as quick and easy to post to as possible. Unfortunately, this exposes us to a lot of spam.
We try to remove spam postings as quick as possible and even have assigned certain Collanos members Moderator permissions to help us control this spam. Should you be interested in getting these permissions, please let me know. We are very grateful to our community's support.
