2  Product Support / Technical Support (English) / Re: 2 General Questions and 1 Advanced Bandwidth Settings Question on: March 27, 2007, 08:01:28 PM

3  Product Support / Technical Support (English) / Problem with users not showing as online on: March 27, 2007, 07:56:44 PM
We are encountering a problem where when a user is online for an extended period of time they are then changed to a status of offline....at this point they are no longer able to update their status to online. It just gives a message that says "unable to change current status. Please try again soon". The only way we have been able to get around this is to stop the software and restart it. We are on Win XP SP2 machines. 4 of our users have experienced this on a regular basis, all with similar configurations.
4  Product Support / Technical Support (English) / Re: Unable to delete/remove workspaces i am no longer part of on: February 26, 2007, 02:12:43 PM
That is true, they are other peoples global workspaces, not ones that i created, so i would expect that when others remove me, that it would be removed from my list of global spaces.

Thank You..

This document shows the workspaces that i am part of.  I was removed from the ones called Chris's workspace and Doron's workspace. Although i can still see them on my 'all my workspaces' page.  I do not have the option of removing them.
6  Product Support / Technical Support (English) / Unable to delete/remove workspaces i am no longer part of on: February 23, 2007, 04:36:32 AM
While playing around with the software, i have found that when i remove myself, or am removed from a workspace the main workspace does not get removed from my view. I am wondering is there something special i need to do to remove it. The option to delete the workspace is greyed out. I now have to other peoples personal workspaces displaying in my view that i do now wish to see.

Thank You, i read the other post and i agree with it.
8  Future... / Feature Requests / Security within a workspace on: February 07, 2007, 03:35:48 PM
With regards to security within a workspace, it would be nice if a workspace owner can define which folders/file are public or by invite only. What i mean is that i may be working on a large project and need to share the workspace with a large number of users, but their may be folders that need to secured and only viewable by the Project Manager and/or team leads. It would be good to have the ability to secure the folders and / files individually.

The options could look something like this.

Global Default Options
- No Security - All users get access to all folders and files
- Secure Folders - Secure access is defined at the folder level, users must be invited to each folder individually
- Secure files - Secure access is defined at the file level, users must be invited to each file individually.

Folder/File Options - Could have a similar default hierarchy, but i would see the need to be able to select one or multiple folders/files to assign access to at the same time.
9  Future... / Feature Requests / Re: Photo ALbums on: February 07, 2007, 11:37:15 AM
Funny this should be suggested, because as i was discussing your product with my wife, we realized we could use this software to share our photos with our family.  The nice thing about this over a web page, is that we know who has access to the photos.  If you expand on that thought you can see a kinda myspace ring to it. You could have profiles that you share and stucuture it so that a user chooses the level of detail to share.

Things that could be included with this is
-Personal Calendar
-Photos
-Event planning (weddings, birthdays, etc)

The list of things is endless really, but you must focus on your basics before you expand to those areas. I am sure that users will find intuitive ways to use your software, that you never imagined.
10  Future... / Feature Requests / Master Server Account on: February 07, 2007, 11:15:55 AM
Another option, that would be great to have is a master server account, where all content would be stored for a company. This will enable tracking of all documents/users to provide the ability to know from an organizational stand point, who has access to our data and which workspaces are created for the company as a whole. It should include global administration abilities, so that users can be added/removed from access to company information.  Backup and export of all data will also be integral to this process.

Whether this is a hosted service or a server that you provide, is irrelevant, as the key is providing the ability to control the flow of documents within an enterprise. I assume some companies, will want internal control, where others may be satified with hosted applications.
11  Future... / Feature Requests / Selective Download on: February 07, 2007, 11:06:43 AM
After using this for a couple of days, i think another feature that would be ideal is selective download, or user initiated download of the data. What i am imagining is that the Folders and possibly the file names would be all that is initially download to the invitees machine. From this point they would then have the option of downloading all content, or selectively choosing which documents to download.

The options may look something like this.

Download all Content.
Download only content assigned to me.
Download only selected content.
Download only when selected. (on demand)

12  Product Support / Technical Support (English) / Starting workspace after it is already running on: February 05, 2007, 10:35:17 AM
When i was trying to start collanos a second time, forgetting that it was already running, i clicked on the icon to start it up and got the following message, stating that it was already running. Wouldn't it be better if it just opened the instance that was running? Just a thought, most other programs function in this manner, and it is less confusing.  It took me a while to figure out that it was actually running in my task bar in minimized mode.

For information purposes, i am running it on windows XP SP2.
13  Future... / Feature Requests / Re: Workspace Templates on: February 04, 2007, 03:37:55 PM
Well i see that with the drag and drop feature it will pull in the hierarchy with any associated files, but i was thinking more of just maintaining the folder structure within the software, with potentially some file templates.  This way when we create a new project space, we can just apply a predefined template. Types of potential templates may be Sales Based, Customer Based, Internal Based, really depends on the need. As i just started using the software today, i am really starting to see some of the power behind it, and can easily work around the template issue. But it would help if the templates can be secured, and have some type of sharing ability, so as to only allow certain people access to them.

To simply answer your question the template would most likely contain the following pieces of information.
- Folder Structure
- Templated files
- Default Discussion area
- Defaulted tasks
- Defaulted links
- Defaulted notes
- Security Access to the template - We would only want to have certain users access the templates, depending on their purpose.

14  Future... / Feature Requests / Workspace Templates on: February 04, 2007, 08:28:00 AM
Hey there, i would like to thank you for building what appears to be a breakthrough and simple product to address the needs of project management.  Based on what i have seen so far, you have hit the nail on the head with the types of features and functions that a user needs.  Now for me to get on with the feature request. Looking at the setup of a new workspace, it would be nice to have a template ability. Many of us in the consulting industry have methodologies that we follow and each of them has a predefined folder structure that we must adhere too. So all i would need is the ability to define the stucture and select it each time I create a workspace.
