Cannot change status to "online". Get message "Unable to change current status please try again soon". We are behind a hardware firewall. Does a port have to be opened in order to obtain online status?

The software looks like it has great promise. Have been looking for this for a long time. Best of luck.

Hi Jack,

Sorry you can't change the status to online. We have been looking into over the last few days but could not detect any problem with changing from offline to online.

Regarding the question about the ports and firewall, yes, tcp ports 9700-9800 and 80 need to be opened to the outside.

Hope this helps and please keep us posted if you still are having problems getting online.

Cheers,
Gil

I'm having the same problem with Collanos. Sometimes it just switches to offline mode and there is nothing I can do to switch it. I'm not using any firewall, so there must be another reason for the tool being offline.

thanks for your help

Thanks and sorry for the trouble you are having.

As you are not behind a firewall, can you explain in more detail when and how often you get 'thrown' offline?

Have you been trying to get back online by right clicking in the bottom right corner where you can set your presence status?
Do you get the message: "Unable to change current status please try again soon" when trying to get back online?

Thanks.
