Hi Guys,

it would be very helpfull if a user could choose where the software will store workspaces and objects included in those workspaces.

Best Regards

Here's the follow up from my previous posting.

Our goal is to allows users to store workspaces in their directories.

We are still trying to figure out how to go about letting users choose themselves where to store them.

How would you prefer to store your workspaces? What structure and choices would you like to have?

Cheers,
Gil

I second that feature request.

I'd love to see a function which allows me to choose a folder on my system where all the data from my workplaces are stored.

David and Heiko,

Just wanted to let you know that we will be releasing a new version very soon (~3 weeks) with a new feature that allows you to select where to store your workspaces on the computer.

Hi , any ideas when it will be available? Those 3 weeks are over.

Would love to start use this within our company. But need to save the documents on our server instead of my personal pc.

Sorry for the delay. Still cleaning up and putting some final touches into the coming release. Very good chance that next week we will release it.

This feature would be a very nice one.
Would it be posible to for example choose a network disk as a storage location?

ex. F:\workplace\ourworkplace.

so that every teammember can work towards the same workplace file by pointing at this location (of course all would need to map that folder on the server to the same station letter)

Or would this work against your peer to peer policy?

Btw, love this software!!! Been looking for this for ages! We use it to manage all our documentation, routines, and user manuals.

What would also be great would be to have the files still available on a file level as opposed to just being stored in the database.  This would minimize training and provide a more seamless experience.

Thoughts appreciated,
