Collanos V1.1 Cannot Find Central User Directory

I am trying to install the new version of Collanos v1.1 and when I start the program and go to register as a user I get the message
[no connection with Central User Directory]. Please check your internet connection or try to connect a few minutes later.

Note:
In the previous version I had to enter the address for the internet server / port. This version does not give me that option.


Help me please.

Hi Landon,

I have installed V1.1 several days ago and it worked fine till today. It seems to me as if this is not a problem with our installation.

Maybe Collanos has got a temporary problem with their Central User Database which is being queried on startup by the new version.

It would be great if they could post a short statement here in order to avoid getting lots of complains ...

Gunnar, Landon and other members experiencing this problem, our apologies.
We did have some brief server maintenance earlier today which may be the cause of the problem for Gunnar.

If you still are having a problem connecting (Landon?), please try opening port 8443 and reply to this posting on your progress.
