Creating Task Objects
Task Objects allow you to assign yourself and any other team members a task, set the start and due dates, update progress and write in detail the actual assignment.
- To create a Task Object, highlight the folder where you want to add it and then click on the "Add Task" icon in the tool bar.
The "Create New Task" dialog opens.

- Complete the form and click on the "OK" button.
Notes:
- The only field that is required is the "Name" field. All other are optional.
- The default member assigned the task is yourself, however, you can assign the task to any member in your workspace.
- The "Start Date" defaults to the day it's created but it can be modified.
- Same applies to "Status", "Progress" and "Priority" fields. Their default settings can be modified as the task progresses.
- Apart from the "Created by" field, all fields can be revised by any team member with the right permissions.
