Title: Moving Files
Post by: gworden on October 06, 2008, 08:37:08 PM
Where does Collanos store files once they've been added to a workspace? If I move the files from my hard drive do I have to update pointers within Collanos? What if I delete the file from my hard drive?

This location is set during installation and the default will vary depending upon Operating System.

I haven't got round to looking at moving or deleting files yet ...

Hello,

When you add file to CollanosWorkplace - file copy is created in Workplace database. All your files stores in encrypted state and root to your Data depend on OS, in case if you have selected standard installation. So your file on HD and in Collanos are now two separate files.
