Title: Getting up and running Post by: RickWarp on October 21, 2009, 05:33:43 PM Hi,
I have been having trouble logging into both Workplace and here, so finally, here goes: System information - I'm on a MacBook Pro, running Mac OS X 10.6. The forum indicates that this works, although I'm sure not seeing it. My most immediate problem is that Workplace currently won't even let me open the app. It says that the "entered login information is not the same as in the local database". It then quits the app without allowing me to change the login information. The problem does not apply to the Phone app, which appears to work locally at least and allows a test call. As background, I've had to reset passwords at least 4-5 times thus far since whatever I've had doesn't work. I can't tell whether I'm setting one global password for Workplace, Phone, forum, etc. or not. Until I couldn't open the app, we've been running with my partner, running Windows XP. We can't talk on the phone or chat, with both of us showing that the other is offline for chat, but online for spaces. We can talk via discussions. It's very inconsistent behavior. Finally, I couldn't invite my partner to a new space before yesterday although she could invite me. Yesterday, for an unknown reason, it started to work. Although it's nice to have it work, we have little confidence without knowing what changed. Overall, the code seems to be beta at best and perhaps not sufficiently robust unless these issues get resolved. We've been long-time Groove users and would like to replace it soon. Collanos is high on our list, but these issues give us great concern. :-[ Thanks for any help, Rick Title: Re: Getting up and running Post by: tjordan on November 11, 2009, 11:25:47 PM Same here. I really want to replace Groove due to x64 limitations and Callanos is quite obviously targeted directly at the Groove users.. because they copied it almost verbatim (which is fine with me) but can I trust important data to this app at this time?
