I have some problems with invitations.

For example, I just tried to invite someone, and Collanos shows, that my invitation is accepted. But I know, that noone did that (because I sent invitation to computer at my workplace, where there is noone now.

Also I am getting complains from other people, that some invitations are received a few hours after sending them.

Why it's so?

Hello
as mentioned in other posts in some cases invitations can not arrive, a problem we work on.
The fact that you can invite peers and get the invitation accepted has to do with an option - autoaccept invitation. In order to make the invitation process flow the default option for invitation is autoaccept. Most of the time it is just convenient if a peer is invited to immediately start the sending of the space. For sure this also bears some risk, meaning that if you get a new space it is better to have a quick look and worst case to delete it.
If you cannot take the risk that someone can send you stuff to your PC, then for sure you should put autoaccept to NO. Tools-Preferences-Collanos Workplace (last option).
Risks are that someone invites you to a huge space that fills your disk or sends harmful content.

That invitations are only arriving after a very long time is a new issue. What can happen is that someone invites a user to a huge space and with autoaccept on the sending starts and needs quite a while to last until the other receives the space. I have been invited to some spaces of 1G or more content. This needs quite some time since Collanos is optimized to keep the connection open, not for speed.
What also can happen is that due to heavy load of the workplace, some invitation traffic is "stuck" behind other traffic. Then also delays can be happening.

If there is no real big traffic from/to a peer and both peers are online, invitations should pass very fast  (user in the space should switch from light blue to orange, and then transmission will go on for a while).

As mentioned we are working on some issues with invitations that do not arrive. In these cases it makes sense to uninvite invited users and reinvite after about 15 minutes again.

We will mention in the release notes of the next release whether this issue could be fixed (September release coming out soon).

Regards
Peter
