Dear Hannesd,

Thank you for your continued interest in Collanos.

To say the truth, we do not have anything of the kind in our plans.

Moreover - can you please explain in more detail which benefit it will give to Collanos users?

Frankly speaking, I do not see any special advantages.

If you explain your idea in more detail and if this idea indeed may happen to be convenient for a significant number of Collanos users, we could of course consider this for future releases.

Currently collanos can be only used by human users.
I have in mind a program, which eg. automatically reads a mailbox, transforms the email into a file and submits it into collanos.
I have also a database, where I track tasks and billing information. I would like to add a button to this application to create a task in Collanos with the task information from my database.
I would like copy/drag emails from thunderbird into Collanos. Thunderbird currently does not support this...

Instead of or in addition to the command line api, a plugin interface would also be cool. Have a look at Eclipse, OpenOffice or Firefox/Thunderbird to see with which ideas people come up and extend the applications. Collanos could profit from that (as you know, Groove has a plugin interface). Ideas: contacts, passwords, structured data, workflow, etc. As I can see, Collanos is an eclipse plugin...
