Collanos doesn't startup on MAC osX 10.6 Snow Lepoard

Any one know of a workaround to get Collanos working On the latest MAC version ?

Well, it does start up.

I've got it running on an iMAC (first Pentium edition) and a relatively new MacBook Pro.  Both systems took the 10.6 update on the Saturday following release (thank you, Amazon).  My assessment is that it works better than it did under the previous release.

Previously, if you minimized the Workplace application it would disappear into the toolbar -- never to return.  Nothing you could do would get it to rise again -- even though it was still running.  In 10.6, this wierd behavior is gone and it works as expected.

I applied the 10.6 update to both systems -- mindlessly.  Nothing interesting happened.

Bottom line:  It works fine here.

after the upgrade to Snow Leopard Workplace starts up, for a split second show the screen and then aborts.  the following is the dump from Console of this event.  I have tried to reinstall Collanos, which had no effect, same symptom, same abort.  I hope someone can provide me (and the others on this forum) with a work around since it brought down part of my team...
I cant't post the entire console dump as it exceeds the max of 20,000 characters, so I posted what hopefully will be enough information to assess the problem

Does anyone from Collanos look at this forum ?

I have also sent 2 emails to Collanos but haven't had a reply... I would just like to know if the problem is known & if it will be worked out & if possible when a fix will be ready.

Okay I have Collanos running again ....... BUT i have NO DATA  !!!



What I did thanks to Julia who found this first was to UNINSTALL Collanos workspace but also..... delete the directory in your user/library/aplication support/collanosetc as well !!!
then re install

So all my partners on Collanos need to univite me & re invite me.... it will be a long process but at least I don't have to revert my MAC OSX software.

This same thing happened to me.

I don't mean to be melodramatic but the following statement will certainly sound like I am.  Collanos will hopefully become a rock solid collaboration tool.  I truly hope it will.  Currently, there are enough issues with it that my team has decided to move to Google Docs.  It doesn't have as many features but it just works.

I will keep my eye on this project.  Once it gets more stable, I will most likely try it out again.

same happened to me ...   and dont see any fixes from the Collanos development team on this issue. Tried all adviced (java version, upgrade, etc), but think I have togo and delete all + get an new update (hope all there) from other members ... might take long ...)   

..... Not impressed on support for this product !!
