I made a mistake in the workplace.ini and startet Collanos Workplace with the wrong path to the configuration. So my old workspace data gone bad and I received the invalid id error and my user account was marked red in all the workspaces.
I remove the local workspace data and restarted from scratch. I uninvited myself from another member, and reinvited myself again. Everything fine so far.
But some workspaces did not appear on my computer. I waited, restarted Collanos Workplace on both computers. Tried to invite another user. Those workspaces still don't appear, although I received the invitation and my user is marked yellow.
I found a workaround:
I duplicated the workspace, uninvited all users from the original workspace and invited them to the new workspace. Now the workspace seems to work again.
Why does this happen? Is there a way to force a workspace to be distributed and displayed? Is there a way to update the user ID with an old value? Will I ever get a response to my questions?
