Hello Everyone-

I was looking on the web for some software just like this, so i was really happy to find it. Unfortunately I have downladed it and registered and i am trying to invite someone. However the status of that person is "pending" and they arent receiving any messages or invitations like i though they were supposed to. What is the problem? Auto-accept is on of course.

Thanks in Advance

This appears to be a firewall issue or the user is not concurrently online with you.
To test this please invite someone else to your workspace and see if its any different.
If you don't know anyone else using Collanos, feel free to invite me 'gheiman' to a test space.
Cheers,
gil

Were you able to resolve this?  I am having the same problem.  I can invite another PC within my network without an issue, but I have not been able to get another user to accept the invite outside of my internal network.  We have both disabled ALL Firewalls and we can both find each other through the directory, but the Invite Message never makes it either direction.

Sorry about this.
A fix will be released very soon. This issue is a bug and not related to firewalls.
Users online should get your invitations without a problem. Users offline and, who in their Preferences have Auto-Accept Invitations checked in the box, may not receive the invitation.

We are having similar problems, The two networked computers can be added but we cant seem to add users over the internet.  We can send the invitation and receive a message sayinig they have accepted but they never actually receive the invite.

Am i reading this correctly that if we disabe auto accept this will work for now?

thanks

Cannot confirm that disabling the auto-accept will fix the issue.
The update scheduled for this coming Mondaymight resolve this. Sorry for not having a complete answer and solution yet.

Has this been resolved?  I now get the invitation, but the acceptance of the invitation is never received.

Hello, regarding invitations that do not arrive, we could not replicate a permanent issue where invitations do not work consistently. We know about some rare situations where invitations get stuck like that and this will be corrected.
For such cases as a workaround: if there is no reaction to an invitation, please uninvite the user with the pending invitation and reinvite him. If you have 15 minutes  between two tries, normally everything should work fine.
There will be a new release coming out this month. An update to a key infrastructure component should actually fix that issue.
As mentioned above - this happens in some rare cases only. Please let us know, when you run permanently into this.

I have installed this software on 4 computers since yesterday and cannot get the invitation feature to work.  2 of the computers are running the latest Mac OS and 2 are running WinXP SP2.  This is really frustrating.

If it is okay for you, please send us an email (via the website) with your Collanos Name and we are glad to test this with you. This really sounds strange. Also it could help to try to invite the other peers from each machine, give it some time and then send us the logs.
Where are your invitations stuck? Does the invited users status change (color status)? Looking forward to read from you.
Regards
