Updated collanos last night and eventually got it to connect after roughly three restarts.

This morning I am unable to connect at all

Is this a known problem??

We currently have a load issue with our super peer infrastructure. I guess too many users jumped onto the new version at once. We hope to resolve it soon. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Problems should be solved and full connectivity restored. Is everything working fine for you now?

I can connect now, but it still seems to take 10 minutes most of the time.  Is this likely to improve??

Absolutely, things will improve.! We have identified the "bottlenecks" and are in the process of finding a fix. Remaining issues include the potentially long initial connection time you've noticed, and also sporadic short transfer interruptions when the traffic between two peers is relayed.

Please note: These minor issues are not inhibiting the correct operation or the system. Everything works fine in principle, just with occasional "hick-ups".

We expect to solve this around the end of November, when Sun Microsystems is going to release its latest Java 6 Update 4. We need to update our super peers with this Java version.

Hello, we updated to your new version yesterday Nov 14 and could not use the same login name. then we created another name with the same email address account and a new password was sent to us by Collanos; we are unable to login with the new login and new password associated.

We are thinking of uninstalling Collanos and re-install it: will we lose all our existing files on Collanos if we do that?

Thanks.

The uninstall process will not delete your data (only the application will be deleted), but reinstalling is not the best way out of the problem. Could you please describe the situation when you cannot login more particularly:

1) You cannot login after you enter your login credentials because:
    - You get the message from CUD saying : "Your Collanos name or password is not correct"
    - You get "User Not Found" dialog saying that your information is not found on local machine
    - You get "Data integrity Error" once workbench is running and application shuts down
2) Is it the cause of login unavailability the same during login with old and new names?

If you could provide that information maybe it would be possible to solve the problem without reinstalling the application.
Thanks in advance.
