I have collanos on my home computer. It works great. I set up another ID on my work computer. The install went fine, the set up went fine (I registered a new name), Putting the key in went fine. but when I tried to run Collanos - It shuts down a millisecond after I open it up. I can see it loading, then the screen appears - then immediately the program is gone.

Any ideas where I should look to solve this problem?

I have turned off spybot, Avast and all firewalls  - but it keeps happening. I have also restarted my computer twice.

What OS are you using? Please go to the Collanos data directory an try to find any files that end with *.log. There might be also one additional .log file in the .metadata folder. Send them to support[AT]collanos[DOT]com and we will analyze. Thanks.

Okay, I have searched the entire computer and have found no log files in any folder that is remotely attached to collanos..... So I have nothing to send you.

Any Ideas?

I just re-installed Java because Javaw was the process that ran when Collanos would try to start.

A grayed out collanos icon appears in my program tray. When I hold my mouse over it, it says loading collanos workspace. The program screen flashes for a split second and then the entire process disappears.

Still no solution.

Could you please specify the Collanos version you're using? It will help to define the data location.

First of all - i doubt that reinstalling Javaw could help because Collanos is distributed (and started) with it's own jre (it is situated in installation directory).
But let's try to find your data.
You're using 1.2 so here is the way to find it:
1st Way:
1) Please try to find the installation directory. It is the folder where Collanos launcher is situated ("Workplace.exe")
2) In the installation folder should be a file named "Workplace.ini"
3) Open "Workplace.ini" file and find a configuration path which is written after "-Dosgi.configuration.area=" (it should be something like "@user.home/Application Data/CollanosWorkplace/6185B8F181EA45911E33419C3EB03FE9/configuration")
4) Navigate to the configuration path.
5) There you will find "config.ini" file.
6) Open "config.ini file" and find what is written after "osgi.instance.area=" - that will be your data location where you can find logs we need for analyzing.

If you find any instruction hard for understanding - please write back
Thanks in advance for your cooperation.

I have sent it to the email address you mentioned. I hope it helps.
