Hello!

I'm attempting to run Collanos (right now 1.3) in a Xen guest environment. It runs well but on occations the guest instance crashes or it has to be rebooted (which is not due to Collanos at all). However, after the reboot Collanos refuses to let me start it up and gives me the a "Data Integrity Error - Entered login information is not the same as in local database" dialog and then it shuts down.

Could someone please help me with the causes to that error message, and if it's possible to solve this situation without having to reinstall and have the user reinvited to all workspaces.

Thanks for an otherwise great product!

Hello,
It's a pity to hear that you have such kind of problem. Can you please try to remember which action were you doing before this occurs, because from your words it is impossible to reproduce such product behaviour. Permanent solution in your case may be next: if you don't have any important files in your Collanos space, or there are some other member that can invite you to space, you can delete your data manually - whole content of the Data folder and start application -> than new Data will appear there and other space member will invite you.

Hello,

Thanks for the answer. Yes, I know that I'm somewhat short of diagnostic information. I will try to provoke the problem again. There's no problem reinviting the user but the workspaces are a couple of gigabytes large so it's somewhat awkward to have to do the reinvite now and then.

I also forgot to mention in the message above that I've checked the log files and couldn't find any indication of what might be wrong.

Thanks,

Hello,

In log files reflect errors that had happened with Collanos application. According to error you were given up possible to make conclusion that data integrity was destroyed by some else application, not Collanos, so this doesn't reflect in log files. It also could be caused by some difficulties during installation (as you use virtual machine monitor) and not all base were formed.
