We are assisting to grow businesses in developing countries, so we are trialing the use of many types of free software - congratulations for this one! I hope many of its features remain free, but there is also a market for now cost mass use as well, of course. We are using this in Australia, China and Africa, so we'll test it's limits in internet-poor areas.

Could a Business Process Object be easily added, maybe as an alternative to the TimeLine View? You already have the Tasks, and a Gantt chart is one way to show the flow of these tasks, but Business Process Modeling is more intuitive, as you can group each persons' tasks in their own column (swimlane). We are dumping http://www.bizagi.com business models into each workspace to give a nice flowchart of each process we have.

Business and collaboration is about getting tasks done, and processes are essentially a bunch of tasks, so adding a process as an object that includes a set of tasks would help organize things nicely.

It would be handy to import a process, to mass-create tasks quickly. I can send example XPDL output from a BizAgi process if you want to see some standard output - should be reasonable simple to read each task from this XPDL and automtically make the tasks, and dependencies? Note, XPDL is a standard form for business process descriptions, so one could import processes from dozens of different software packages.

Of course, earlier discussions about an API would enable us to do this ourselves, so I hope APIs can happen pretty soon. Collabra's is up and running, I think.

Regards,
Stewart
