it would be great !!!

We use Collanos in a team of about 10 people and we work much with mp3s and pictures - it takes hours until you got the files you want because you download hundreds of (big) files you don't need. This is the only bigger problem we experience.
If I dream on, I would wish a "preview"-functionality. Also as an option in the preferences ("turn previews on/off"). So you can see a "Miniature view" of a picture / first 10 seconds of a mp3 / first 10 seconds of a video before downloading it. Even better - if you could establish something like a youtube-stream for audio and video-files so you can jump to the middle of the file and hear / see the ten seconds you need to decide (and f.e. not the long and unspecific beginning).
Back to the basic "download on demand"-function this topic is about: collanos is greatly usable in thousands of different ways - you can work on little files together or share collections of bigger files the team may need - we do a mix of both. That's why it would be perfect if you can specify certain folders as "synchronize always" and others as "download on demand". Then you will be able to mark big-collection-folders where you may need only a few files you select manually, as "download on demand", and keep all the others synchronizing in the way it's done now.
(Therefore again it would be great to have an option in the general preferences like [set "download on demand" as default for all folders] or [set "synchronize always" as default for all folders]. So everyone could use it in his way.)
