Working environment improvements.. advice and request

sorry i couldnt find again the post where you were talking about this.

as i remember collanos tranfer files only when 2 peers are online in the same moment... but what happen if we are 3 ppl and for days we dont meet online ?

Would it be good to have an user always online like a robot or a server account which downloads and keps every file (  a computer always on )? as i understood that once the files are dloaded by one user they can be shared from this user to others, right?


this fact links to my other problematic, which is to monitor the time a file reached a determined user and if the user dloaded it succesfully, i think it is very important feature colanos shuld be implemented with, it makes it more professional for a working environment.

Nice idea!

Yes, on your side you can, of course, arrange a dedicated commuter (User_A) that will be always on.

It will transmit to User_C all information that it has received from User_B when User_C was online.

This will work very well for all subsequent information added to a workspace but it will not work for the initial download of the workspace. During the initial download of the workspace the inviter and the invitee must be online in any case.

However, there is a simple way to avoid it - just invite all new users from the User_A
