update file, but window is hidden

When I open a word or excel file from within Workplace (mac version) and I edit and close the document, I get the option to automatically update in workplace.
The past few days, I still get this option, but it is hidden behind the workplace main window. And I can't move this window, because the "update-workplace dialog" is still active. So I kind of get stuck this way.

Any Idea on a work around?

I've just tested it and it works ok with me.

Can you please specify the following:

1. What is your version of Collanos?
2. What is exact version of your MAC OS?
3. What is your version of MS office?
4. Did you do any special actions before the problem appeared?
5. Can you send us a screen shot of the screen when the problem appears next time?

I'm working with:
Worklplace Version: 1.4.0.2 (Build id: 20090214-7390)

My OS version is 10.5.6

Office 2008 for Mac (12.1.4)

The weird thing is: It worked fine at first. I can't remember if I changed any setting. Perhaps working with multiple desktops?

Of course I can send you a screen shot, but all you will see is the main screen of workplace (since the other dialog is behind the other screen :-)  )

Multiple desktops may be the problem.

Do you have several displays?

If yes - the update window may be sent to the second display.

yep: multiple desktops (Spaces) was the problem!
That is: when I disabeld Spaces: the problem was solved.
(the weird thing is: when I re-enabled Spaces, the problem was still solved...)

On my Side I have the same problem

But I think it's not the problem of the multiple Desktop, because I had the same effect without the desktop spaces on my mac. But only sometimes.

I think it's a problem of the focus of this message box. This message box is often behind the main screen and can not be selected. Of course on mac you can select this window over the dock and hit the enter key blind.
