HI

I have been encouraged to use collanos by a friend I am working on a common project with.

I have downloaded and installed the software, but when I enter my info and press ok, I get the error message:

No connection with collanos central user directory. please check your internet connection or try again a few minutes later.

I have tried several times to reconnect now and my connection is working, I am writing this online and listening to streamed radio.

any suggestions?

Due to an internal Domain Name Server (DNS) change, we had a time period with wrong DNS values. The Central User Directory service was not "reachable" for several hours. In the meantime the new DNS addresses have propagated correctly across most of the Internet system and the service is working fine again. Sorry for this technical glitch.

I am experiencing this same problem trying to create a new user.  Is there a new DNS issue happening.

I have the same problem, but I don´t know if the firewall is the problem in my work.
I put the address and the port the sistem show me 80. What´s the problem? I need a special port??

Hi, I also can't register as a new user but when my error pops up it says.....

User registration: failed to store user info

so then I try to log in and says that i have an incorrect login?

Help?!?!

Hello,

Our User Central Directory works in normal regime. Please check whether you use firewall or proxy server. Also check stability of your Internet connection. Try once more to register Collanos Name - if you receive any error message, please attach screen shot of your error message.
What Collanos version and OS do you use?

Hey,

I am new user and I have a problem to log in.
I use Xp

After first installation and running the tool, I inter  "Collanos Name" and "chosen PW".
After clicking "register" > Collanos Name or Password are wrong. Please try another time.

I am using no proxy-gate way and no Fire wall as well.

Any idea?

Hello,

During registration everybody Creates it own self thought out Collanos Name -which is login,- and password. Next step is confirming account - on e-mail address arrives Confirmation code, which Collanos member should input only once into confirmation window.

Can you please give more details:
1.You start up Collanos-> Login screen appear;
2. You key in your Collanos Name and password, which you've thought out and press "Sign in" button;

Please send me whole text of error message if you get one.
