Help Required Please...
Clean, 1st time installation Problem.
Unable to fully install 1_0_0_3. See attached e-mails for error messages and relevant logs. The half-installed software could not be Un-Installed via Control Panel/Add-Remove Programs
Had to install 1_0_0_2 which in turn suggested there was an update which I obviously have NOT installed yet.

Hello,

Thank you for the attached information. Collanos Workplace has it own un-installer and different test were made to check its work via Control Panel/Add-Remove Programs. Please try to make next:
1. Download once more installer from site (it is important);
2. During Installation select custom variant;
3. Create Two folders for example: C/Program files/Collanos-1303/Project   and C/Program files/Collanos-1303/Data
4. During installation choose given above folders for new installation;

Collanos should work. Refer if something will go wrong.

But..
Like I mentioned I already installed 1_0_0_2 to get Collanos up and working.
So, Should I uninstall 1_0_0_2 and do a clean "custom" install of 1_0_0_3 or should I upgrade from within 1_0_0_2?

Hello,

You may upgrade your version, but download installer from site and start it up. You will be asked whether you want to upgrade your Collanos or install new one -> select upgrade. The main point is that downloaded installer install all application and auto-update from site imports changed parts that differs between versions, so in your case it would be better to download installer.

Thx. That fixed it.
So, basically the fix was to install the previous rev and then install the new rev over it specifying upgrade.

Hello

Nice to hear everything is ok. According to your log files, problem reason was that somehow installer were damaged (during first download or some external reasons), that is why you needed to download it once more.
