Our team is looking at using this, but I can't get the software installed. Here's what I'm running:

Ubuntu 6.10 Edgy
Gnome DE
Beryl Window Manager

I set the download executable, run ./Workplace_linux_with_jre_1_0_0_10.sh, and then get...

Unpacking JRE ...
Preparing JRE ...
Starting Installer ...
/home/givensdj/.themes/Alphacube GTK 0.5/gtk-2.0/gtkrc:66: Engine "clearlooks" is unsupported, ignoring

And then get a blank box. When I go to close it, I get a prompt about setup not being complete. I've changed to other GTK themes and get similar messages about the particular engine the theme uses not being supported. Additionally, I have verified having libgtk2.0 and the development headers installed.

Any suggestions?

I had that problem as well with Ubuntu 7.04 but discovered that if i switched windows managers back and forth the text would appear in the box and I could continue with the installation.

hope this helps you out
