A shared whiteboard feature within Collanos would be useful.

Although this feature is already in the road map, it is not yet scheduled for a release in the near future. We have a many other high priority features we are focusing on first, like Calendar, Contact Management, Workspace Templates, Improved Import/Export, VoIP Integration, Search, and much more. Next major release is planned for November.

This would be a very useful feature indeed.

I just installed collanos onto my three different workstations/laptops after being a user of Groove. Something related to whiteboard that I have been missing from online workgroup programs is a mindmapping software. I believe everyone who has been using mind mapping software previously would immediately see the benefit of having it in collanos.

Thanks. I added the mind map feature to our road map. If we will find a ready-to-use Java library for mind mapping, including compatible license that lets us integrate it into Workplace, we could offer this rather soon. Otherwise, quite difficult, due to resource constraints.
