I have installed Collanos workspace on my 2nd machine without realising it is currently not supported.

I have since uninstalled Collanos from 2nd machine and reinstall hoping to create a new ID. Unfortunately that didn't work - the machine seemed to have "memory" (tracked by cookies?Huh) of the old ID and didn't prompt me to create new account.

What should I do to resolve this please?

Hello,

It would be faster if you write to technical support branch. Actually Collanos stores its Data locally - so all you files in encrypted variant and also special mechanism which check authorization is on your HD. So solution: is to verify whether you don have information in Collanos on second machine and than delete your Data folder. After Data folder is deleted it would be possible to  login with new account, but of course there won't be any file.
On standard installation Data folder for different OS is situated in different places, in Windows it is:
C:\Documents And Settings\{Your user name}\Application Data\CollanosWorkplace\{Unique Key}\Data

Looking at the release notes for v1.4, it looks like single user across multiple computers is still not supported.  I for one am holding back on Collanos until this is resolved....

Dear Marcuso,

But you can register for yourself two separate accounts, say Marcuso_home and Marcuso_work.

And Marcuso_home will invite Marcuso_work to a workspace.

You can even use the same email address for this purpose.

Does that really create so much trouble?

I personally don't feel that there is any problem, but I have ran across problems when people are upgrading to a new computer and need to migrate data. They logged in as the same account on the new machine; which has caused conflicts with our workspaces.

It is my assumption, that when all of my workspace data was deleted during one instance it was because the individual had logged in with their computer on the 2nd account with a blank workspace instead of the account with the active workspace with all the files. My computer then sync'd with them them deleting all my data, which required me to re-sync. Does this sound right?

Does anyone else notice any oddities with this? I have since then informed them to just uninstall Collanos from their old system and set it up on their new system.
