A calendar is needed

We really need to get off Groove! This is so painful!! We NEED a calendar! It doesn't have to be fancy, it doesn't have to "link" to Outlook or any other such program, it just needs to be a simple calendar that all users can see and add events to.

Look at the Groove calendar. You know what, as a calendar app, its pretty basic. Its crap really. No color coding, no alarms, etc. BUT IT WORKS.  AND, keeping with one of the main advantages of this software, the users DON'T need to be connected to the internet in order to check the calendar.

We are going to give Collanos a test drive now, but it is SO painful that I will have to implement a separate calendar function like Google or Yahoo.

Please, just skip all the fancy linking options and go for a simple calendar. It will cover the job for the majority, and maybe the advanced stuff could be added later.

don't forget an import function (for iCal too )  so I can move my events and todo's into the Collanos Workplace
