Solutions for MBAs
1 semester.
4 classes, 4 teams, 4 projects.
Endless emails, endless attachments, endless file versions, endless (instant) messages. Chaos.
Who did what? When was the last revision? Where is it? Why didn’t I get a copy? How do we involve external team members such as faculty, clients, and consultants? How can I afford it? Why can’t the system support true teamwork?!
How do you collaborate?
Over 75% of MBA students spend their time at school on team related work. Over 95% work on two or more different team projects at any given time.
What are they using to collaborate? Email, email and more email (See the related blog with the highlights of a great panel discussion on MBA Team Collaboration we hosted on Feb. 6, 2007).
With all the advance in software and web applications, students continue to depend on email as the main (and often the only) collaboration solution for their teamwork.
In the meantime, collaboration solutions introduced through schools and IT departments end up being scrapped after substantial investments. Why? Simply because they do not address the core requirements of the most influential users – the students.
Why use Collanos?
Collanos Workplace 1.0 has been designed carefully with student teamwork environments in mind. We listened, we experienced it first-hand and now we are delivering a free solution for students to be able to adopt ad hoc and use instantly to collaborate with teammates.
