Managing Your Contacts
One of the most important views of the Phone is the "Contacts" tab. This is the main list where all your contacts are displayed. Similar to other popular instant messaging tools, you can organize your contacts into groups. The gray and colored circles before the names indicate the presence state of the contacts.
Presence codes:
- Gray = Offline (or Invisible)
- Orange = Away
- Red = Do Not Disturb
- Green = Online
You can change your own presence state by clicking into the circle on the left side of the big black bar on top. Or, alternatively, you can use the context menu of the System Tray icon.

Use the magnification glass icon to search for other Collanos Phone users to add.

The following search dialog will open and you can begin to search and invite other users. Just type the name (or the beginning of a name) and hit the "Search" button. All users matching the criteria will be searched on the Central User Directory and displayed in the list. Select the user you want to add as a new contact, and then click "Add". The remote user will receive an authorization request to be added to your list. You can stay in the search users dialog and invite several users, but only one at the time. For advanced search criteria there is a button on the left side of the dialog, directly under the entry field.
Please note that only users who have already installed and run Collanos Phone will be listed. In other words, a Collanos Workplace user that has not yet installed the Phone won't be listed.

Whenever you add a new contact, you will be presented the below dialog. Here you can enter additional details about the person.
