Workplace Data

Workspace Data Preference section will allow you to manage your workplace data by allowing you to move your data, redirect your workspace to a previously existing data source, or backup your data. You will also be able to manage how much space you want to allocate to your conflict bin.

Manage Your Workplace Data

  1. First you will need to decide what option you would like to select

    A. Redirect Workplace Data – Will take the your current workplace data and allow you to move it to a different location in your file system.

    B. Retrieve Workplace Data – Will allow you to find a previous copy of your workplace data use that copy as your workplace data.

    C. Backup Workplace Data – Will allow you to make a replicate of your workplace data and store it for later use.

  2. Once you have decided what you would like to do with your data you will next need to select the destination or the location of your data. You can select browse and find the destination or location. Then you can click ok and your data will be moved, relocated, or backed up.

Conflict Bin Data Management

In this preference screen you can define the size of your conflict bin and a notice will warn you if you have exceeded your conflict bin size. Setting a size restriction for your conflict bin will allow you to manage how much storage space you want to allocate to files that have been deleted or modified by other users. Files in your conflict bin will not be deleted because of size restrictions.
