We'd also love to hear if this was possible somehow, as a lot of our partners are in Africa, Papua New Guinea, Guatemala, etc, very. very bandwidth challenged and can't download 50Mb. We'll post them some CDs, maybe, but some way for us, maybe via a version on our server, that the can access it via the web, would be good, even so they can just get a daily download of tasks that need doing by us and them, a look at progress on the gantt chart, and some small docs.
Or maybe even a "Lite" version could be made, just for task synchronization and gantt chart viewing only, and if they need to access docs, they login via a website to a full version on a server?
The digital divide is getting bigger and bigger every year - if you can help the millions who are "still on dial-up" or worse, it would be wonderful. We know from experience that a few kb of comments and interaction can go a long, long way to help projects happen in such places.
